From the time I got an SMS from my colleague, telling me about the Mumbai attack, I’ve been glued to the TV or the Internet. Its almost 24 hrs and there is still no end to it. When will all this stop? Its such a vicious circle, I feel like screaming , shouting, shaking someone, anyone. Why so much of hatred, those young men, who carried out the attacks should have been in school, colleges, planning a future, not blowing up other innocent humans, where did it all go wrong?
No religion teaches hatred, so what is all this about? I believe the fact that terrorist don’t have a religion or nationality. Why can’t we all live peacefully? Do we have to live in constant fear? Are we ever going to feel safe?
With 24×7 news channels, we get to see almost everything happening, but in order to get TRP’s they have lost the human touch. Everything has to be sensationalised. I was so disappointed by my favourite news channel (no more), CNN IBN. Mr. Sardasai I am sorry but I am not interested in knowing what a filmmaker has to say, there are real life heroes dying there and you hold discussions with film makers , getting juicy comments. I expected much more from you. You really disappointed me. Kudos to NDTV theirs was a restrained coverage.
Why couldn’t the politicians stay away? How will the police do its work when half the force has to be deployed to keep you safe? Do you think one word form you will ease the victims pain? Or a promise of Rs5 lakhs? A person may loose his legs or eyes or hands, what will he/she do with the Rs50,000 compensation? Shouldn’t you have stayed back in Delhi and thought about how to rehabilitate them? Thank God the circus didn’t begin today, but make no mistake, it will , if not tomorrow, then definitely the day after. The mud slinging, finger pointing, the blame game. Every politician is out there to milk the situation for maximum political gain. We don’t want to know what went wrong in the past, we want to know what are you doing to make our future safe? Can we have some answers?
My salute to all those heroic people who lost their life trying to save others. May you rest in peace. Common people like me are thankful that there are still people like you in this country. You are our true heroes. And to their loved ones my deepest condolence.
